History
The first H&H Webranking was pioneered by Gabriel Thulin and Staffan Lindgren for Hallvarsson & Halvarsson in 1997. Recognising the Internet as a fast and growing communication channel of enormous potential, Thulin and Lindgren identified the need within our organisation to learn more about the cutting edge medium.
The first H&H Webranking survey included 122 Swedish companies, with the second edition of the survey expanding to cover the other Nordic countries. In 2001 the first pan-European survey was conducted. In 2004 local Italian and Swiss surveys were conducted. In 2010 more than 900 companies, from 28 different sectors are included in the survey making H&H Webranking the undisputed, comprehensive benchmark for online corporate presence.
In 2011 H&H Webranking was rebranded as KWD Webranking as its international focus was aligned with the vision of KWD. We still rank over 900 companies world wide.
